As the Medical Director for Solutions Healthcare, Dr. Aly brings his dual board certification in Adult Psychiatry (2019) and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (2020), along with specialized training in ADHD, OCD, ASD, substance abuse, and psychotherapy. His belief in evidence-based and practical medicine drives his approach to patient care. Dr. Aly’s dedication to holistic treatment is reflected in his belief that the path to treat substance use disorder and improve mental health is a multidisciplinary approach that includes lifestyle changes, therapy, and appropriate pharmacological management.
Having grown up in the vibrant Edgewater/NSB area and attended Spruce Creek High School, Dr. Aly understands the healthcare needs of the community intimately. His dedication to community service led him to establish a nonprofit organization focused on delivering food to homeless individuals, fostering improved communication and community connection.
After completing his medical education at Ross University and earning a Master’s in Public Health from Michigan State University, Dr. Aly’s passion for providing exceptional care led him to assume the role of Medical Director at Solutions Healthcare. With his comprehensive background and expertise, he is poised to lead the organization in delivering high-quality healthcare services to the community.
Dr. Aly’s professional journey also includes a residency at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in New Jersey and a prestigious fellowship at Harvard Medical School – Boston Children’s Hospital. During his fellowship, he served as a Chief, specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a focus on Emergency Psychiatry, Problematic Interactive Media Use, and academic research. His commitment to understanding the intersection of mental health and interactive media led him to contribute to the development of a treatment manual for Problematic Interactive Media Use.
